Submission Guidelines
We are an open space for you to be creative, analyze issues you care about, and be read. We are looking for insightful and creative works for a young audience, emphasizing philosophy—but broadly speaking, we accept works that delve into one’s thoughts/contemplations. We welcome your stories, essays, daily thoughts, and more!
Simultaneous submissions are allowed. However, we will not be accepting any previously published works. Anyone from the ages of 12 to 25 is open to submit.
We do not have any submission fees or barriers.

Note: By submitting to this magazine, the author grants Contemplative Review to publish the story in the Contemplative Review magazine, post it in our social media accounts (Instagram and TikTok), and to archive it on our website. All other rights remain with the author.

Steps to Submission
1. Please email a .pdf, .docx, or Google doc file of your writing to contemplativereview@gmail.com. If you are submitting multiple works, please send them as separate emails, one attachment per email.

* if you are using Google Docs, click file → download → and any one of the options mentioned above.
2. As the title line of your email, please put the title of your work, a dash, its genre, another dash, and then your name. For example, “Title of work - prompt responding to - John.”
* if you would prefer to remain anonymous, write anonymous as your name.
3. In the body of the email, please write a 3-4 sentence biography in the third person, including name, age, location, and any prior writing experience you may have.
* If you would like to remain anonymous, please still include your age.
4. For submitters under the age of 13, please have a parent CC’d in the email. We will be asking them for permission, if you are selected, to publish your work, name, and written biography.
