This artwork started off as a simple class activity. The black background consists of sketches from each person in my class, capturing the idea of "voices of a community" through each person's unique take on a bird. I drew over the black background with white and the white bird symbolizes the journey of finding oneself within a community. The artwork illustrates how we can be both individuals and part of a larger whole, highlighting the balance between belonging and standing out.
